Hoobuy Spreadsheet · independent buying guide
Hoobuy help centre and FAQ.
Find the next action for a product, payment, warehouse or delivery question. Use your Hoobuy account for actions on an order; this independent guide explains what to ask.
Get help with an order
Open the affected order or parcel in Hoobuy and use the support route shown there. Include the order reference, the option you selected, what the record currently says and the action you want.
A useful message is specific: “Order [reference], size L black jacket. The warehouse label shows M. Please confirm the received size and available return options before shipping.”
Common buying and warehouse problems
- The product link does not open
- Search for the item again and verify the replacement’s seller and variant. A matching thumbnail can belong to a different listing.
- The item is out of stock
- Ask which option is unavailable and review the cancellation or substitution choices in the order. Do not accept an unconfirmed replacement.
- The photos show a wrong size or defect
- Identify the exact mismatch and request a focused photo if needed. Ask about returns while the item is still in the warehouse; return eligibility and charges depend on the current terms.
- No warehouse photos yet
- Check whether the seller has dispatched and whether the warehouse has recorded receipt. Purchase, transit, receiving and photo processing are separate stages.
- Tracking has not moved
- Check the last carrier scan and whether the parcel was collected. Ask support about that event, keeping the parcel reference in the official channel.
Fees: budget for the complete order
| Cost | When to check it | What affects it |
|---|---|---|
| Product and domestic shipping | Before purchase | Seller, variant, quantity and delivery within China. |
| Service, payment and currency conversion | Before paying or topping up | Current payment method, exchange rate and applicable charges. |
| Warehouse options | Before requesting them | Extra photos, storage, packing and other selected services. |
| International freight | At parcel submission | Destination, route, chargeable weight, dimensions and contents. |
| Destination charges | Before choosing the route | Tax, duties and handling under the line terms and local rules. |
Currency and exchange rates
Seller prices are usually stated in CNY/RMB. The rate used by the agent or payment provider can differ from a market reference rate. Compare the final amount you pay, including conversion and payment charges, rather than using a fixed rate from an old guide.
QC, GL, RL and other terms
- QC
- Quality check: in this context, warehouse inspection and photos used to check visible item details.
- GL / RL
- Community shorthand for “green light” or “red light”: a buyer is satisfied or sees a concern. These are opinions, not an agent guarantee or authenticity verdict.
- Consolidation
- Combining received items into an outgoing parcel. Check route limits and packing before assuming it saves money.
- Volumetric weight
- A weight calculated from parcel dimensions. Some lines charge using it when it exceeds measured weight.
- Warehouse storage
- The period between receiving an item and sending it out. Check the current free period, paid storage and expiry rules in your account.
Frequently asked questions
Is Hoobuy Spreadsheet a downloadable spreadsheet?
No. It is a product discovery site and buying guide. Categories and search lead to listings; your Hoobuy account handles the purchase.
Why do I pay twice?
The first payment buys the goods and covers relevant domestic costs. International shipping is calculated later for the parcel you choose to send.
Can I change a size after ordering?
Ask through the order record as soon as possible. The available action depends on whether the purchase has been placed, dispatched or received, and on seller and agent terms.
Does QC prove authenticity?
No. Photos can help with visible size labels, colour, quantity and condition. They do not prove authenticity or hidden construction.
How much is shipping?
Use the current estimator for your destination and contents, then review the final quote after packing. Weight, volume, restrictions and line choices affect the amount.
Can this guide cancel or refund my order?
No. Open the official order support route. This website has no access to your order or payment.
What should I avoid on a first order?
Avoid unclear sizes, unexplained deposits, unsupported product claims and items whose destination or shipping restrictions you have not checked. Start with a manageable order.
